pma awards 2018 metal forming woman of excellence christie williams

St. Louis, MO – Beckwood Press Company, a leading manufacturer of custom hydraulic and servo-electric presses, automation systems, and the Triform line of precision forming equipment, is proud to announce that Corporate Marketing Manager, Christie Williams, has been named a ‘Champion of PR’ by PRWeek. This prestigious annual award is bestowed upon 40 inspiring marketing and public relations professionals who embody their brands and inspire innovation among their teammates.

Ms. Williams was recognized for her uncanny ability to understand the technological portions of the manufacturing industry and use her creative design skills to develop groundbreaking communication pieces. She was essential in designing, writing, and distributing Beckwood’s first all-encompassing aerospace forming solutions magazine, Manufacturing the Future, which is used by Aerospace OEM’s around the world to learn about the industry’s most technologically-advanced forming equipment.

In 2016, Christie worked with Beckwood’s Sales & Marketing Department to redesign the company’s industry-leading website which now features an Education Center where visitors can learn about new forming technologies and old technologies being used in new ways. It also hosts articles, white papers, videos, success stories, and more.

“Christie’s impact on Beckwood and the entire metal forming industry is something we are all extremely proud of,” said Josh Dixon, Beckwood’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “The manufacturing sector would be hard-pressed to find another individual who has worked so hard behind the scenes to help educate the industry as a whole.”
