St. Louis, MO – Beckwood Press Company, a leading manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses, automation systems, and the Triform line of precision forming equipment, hosted a book drive benefiting Operation Paperback in honor of ‘National Read a Book Day’ on September 6th.

Together, Beckwood staff and their families collected over 60 books which where sorted and shipped to Embrace Community Center in Keystone Heights, FL and the USS Winston Churchill, a Navy destroyer based in Norfolk, VA.

Operation Paperback is a non-profit organization that supplies new and used books to active duty and retired U.S. military personnel and their families for personal growth and professional development. In addition to multiple overseas locations, Operation Paperback provides books to wounded warrior programs and veterans’ hospitals as well as USO centers within domestic airports. Since 1999, Operation Paperback volunteers have shipped over 2.2 million books to support U.S. military personnel!
