We provide every full-time employee with paid vacation time. The amount is determined by your length of service and will be renewed annually on July 1st. We have found employees who take personal time throughout the year return to Beckwood refreshed and full of new ideas, which is why we make vacation a priority.
We understand you want to be with family and friends on important occasions throughout the year. We give employees 10 paid holidays in addition to their vacation time.

We believe a flexible work environment improves the quality of work and personal effectiveness of our employees. We try to be as flexible as we can within a manufacturing environment while meeting production schedules and customer needs.
Health & Wellness
We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, as well as short and long term disability. You are eligible to participate after 30 days of employment.
Beckwood offers managed care plans through leading insurance carriers. Our premiums are some of the most competitive in the area, and you pay them on a pre-tax basis. Highlights of our health insurance plans include:
- Comprehensive medical coverage
- Dependent coverage – you can cover your spouse and/or your dependent children
- Opt out – participation is not required
- Annual enrollment – you can make new choices each year
Our plans cover comprehensive medical services, including:
- Doctor and hospital visits, including maternity and well-baby care
- Prescription drugs
- Emergency care
Our vision care plan provides quality eye health care including exams with dilation and lenses with very low co-payments in addition to competitive allowances for frames and contact lenses.
Our dental plan provides coverage for preventive dental care, including semi-annual exams and cleanings. Fillings, crowns, orthodontia, and other dental services are also covered, subject to modest deductibles, coinsurance, and plan limits.
We offer two days of sick time after one year of continuous service. One additional sick day is added on your third anniversary.
Planning for Your Future
We offer a 401(k) retirement plan for all full time employees using profit-sharing for employer contributions. Currently, we match up to 2% of employee deferrals, excluding bonuses. In addition, there is a possible discretionary profit sharing contribution determined at the end of each calendar year based solely on profitability. You can enroll in the 401(k) program on the first day of the month following your 90-day anniversary.
Pay & Performance
We believe productive conversations build effective relationships, foster excellent performance, and promote shared learning. We encourage regular coaching and feedback sessions between you and your immediate supervisor. This provides an opportunity to discuss business updates, address issues or concerns, coach/mentor, note achievements and growth opportunities, set goals, and just have a conversation!
We provide annual performance and salary reviews. We believe pay should reflect performance and be competitive within our market. To ensure we remain competitive, we perform regular reviews of salary market data within our industry.
We want our employees to share in our success. Bonus payments are discretionary and based on company profitability and employee performance.
